Dillon was born and raised as a local resident of Ocean Beach, San Diego. He stayed close to home when he chose to attend the University of San Diego. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in both Real Estate and Marketing, while also being recognized as a student-athlete as a member of the USD Baseball team. After a short stint as an intern for the Padres, Dillon turned his focus toward real estate and completed his goal of acquiring his Real Estate Broker’s License. Soon after that, he opened up his own local brokerage, and Checkal Real Estate and Development, Inc. was born.

Growing up as the son of a General Contractor (Checkal Construction), and a mother selling Residential Real Estate for 22 years of his childhood, Dillon’s mind developed around housing. After working for years on residential construction sites with his dad, he gained knowledge and understanding of what it at takes to turn a house into a home. He has taken this experience and turned it into a passion in the real estate field. Today, he wishes to help you in finding a piece of paradise in one of the most beautiful cities in America, for you and your family to call your own.

Jordy is a San Diego, Point Loma native! After managing and designing over 40 homes in San Diego, she knew it would be a great idea to get her license in real estate to buy, sell, design, and manage properties, as well as be a part of the family business. In her first year of Real Estate, she close 5 deals with two of them being listings. When it comes to “a one-stop-shop” Jordy is your girl! From designing, decorating, and managing homes, she has skills in any area you need when it comes to the home buying process. She is also the daughter of Michelle Checkal (SD realtor of 30 years) and the sister to the broker of Checkal RED. Michelle was born and grew up in Pasadena, Los Angeles. She attended two year at Long Beach State for Graphic Design, where she then moved over to San Diego State to finish up school and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. From there she began her journey of over 23 years of experience in selling residential Real Estate in the San Diego area. She has developed and purchased income property with over 20 years in property management under her belt.

As an active member of the local Ocean Beach/ Point Loma community she prides herself on her honesty and integrity with proven results over decades of experience.
